Information we receive

• Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your account identifier, email address, and basic profile details needed to identify your account.
• Workspace and media: We store the business details, website address, images, clips, drafts, captions, and settings you choose to add. If you import a website, we process its public content to prepare suggestions for your review.
• Connected social accounts: If you authorize TikTok or Instagram, we receive the permissions, account identifiers, and access credentials needed for the features you enable. We may retrieve profile details, your posts, and available performance metrics. We only send a video or schedule a post when you request that action in the app.
• Technical information: Our hosting and security services may process IP addresses, device and browser details, request logs, and error information needed to operate and protect the service.

How we use information

We use this information to sign you in, save and display your work, create or render videos you request, connect social accounts, publish or schedule posts you authorize, show available analytics, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and provide support. We do not use connected social account data for targeted advertising or sell it.

Services that help run reelswitch

Depending on the feature you use, information may be processed by Google Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, hosting, and storage; Firecrawl for website import; Runway for requested AI video generation; Stripe for payments if checkout is offered; and TikTok or Meta when you connect an account or ask us to publish. Each provider also has its own privacy terms. We share only the information needed to deliver the feature you choose or to comply with law.

Social account control

Connecting a social account is optional. You can revoke access in the social platform's account settings and contact us to request removal of stored connection data. Revoking access stops future access through that authorization; content already published to a platform remains subject to that platform's controls.

Storage, security, and retention

We use access controls and server-side handling for credentials. No internet service can promise absolute security. We retain account and workspace information while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward when needed for recovery, security, legal obligations, or dispute resolution. You can ask us to delete your account data; we will explain any information we must retain. Social posts already published must be managed on the relevant platform.

Your choices

You can edit your business details and drafts in the app, choose whether to connect social accounts, and request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by emailing sedrak@reelswitch.com. If local law provides additional privacy rights, contact us at the same address.

Children and changes

reelswitch is intended for business users and is not directed to children. We may update this policy as features and practices change. The current version and effective date will appear on this page.
